Last but not least, we're happy to take the time to celebrate our class of 2021, who just capped off strong first seasons at the college level! Leading off, Lauren Conti (Southern New Hampshire) was a starter on defense and third team All-NE10 conference selection. Marissa Mastracco (William Smith) was also a starter on defense and second team All-Liberty league selection.
Bella Parrotte (Westfield State), Christina Cummings (Saint Michaels), Katie Hotaling (SUNY Brockport), Katie Sellers (SUNY Fredonia), and Rachel Bortnick (Elmira) were all starters and one of the leading scorers for their respective programs. Jo Van Royen (SUNY Albany), Jules Monlea (SUNY Fredonia), Kylie Lumley (Elmira), and Lexie Thompson (Hartwick) on the other end of the spectrum were starters on defense for their teams.
Chase Livesey (Castleton), Corinne Jackson (Manhattan), and Lindsey Matthews (SUNY Geneseo) all saw significant time off the bench. Dani Rubino (SUNY Fredonia), Eva Pickert (SUNY Oneonta), Jane Leader (SUNY Geneseo), Julia Hanlon (Endicott), Keelyn Peacock (Arkansas State), Rebecca Kohls (SUNY Potsdam), and Sam Germano (WPI) all saw time off the bench this year and a couple of girls took redshirt years (Ashley Cirilla at Binghamton, Megan Krohn at SUNY Albany, Bria LaBella at McGill, and Olivia Martuscello at Manhattan).
Finally, we have a couple of alumni that moved on to play on the court in college instead of on the pitch. Best of luck to Abby Ray (SUNY Albany) and Olivia Olsen (Providence) in their respective basketball seasons this winter!
