Privileged to get to spend the day at the Afrims Sports Park at the Eastern NY coaching symposium. Our staff had the opportunity to learn from coaching industry experts in ECNL president Christian Lavers, MCLA women’s coach Deb Raber, US Soccer technical lead Didier Chambaron, best selling author and coaching/teaching expert Doug Lemov, and Eastern NY director of coaching Tim Bradbury.
Our 2006/2007 girls got to participate in a session run by Christian on individual and team defending, our 2008/09 girls in a session run by Doug and Tim focused on in-game coaching habits, and our 2009 girls in a session run by Deb focused on first touch with a purpose.
Safe travels to all the educators back home and happy to have these opportunities in the Capital Region!
